Welcome to the PDU website. We now have two very successful symposia behind us (past programmes can be viewed on this web site as well as pdfs of the published proceedings) and we have also made real progress on the PDU Collaboration.
The third Winter Meeting moves to Australia to effect our plan of alternating between fixed locations in Australia and New Zealand. The venue for the third meeting, in contrast to our New Zealand winter location in Queenstown, is the stunning Hayman Island Resort in the Whitsundays.
We have received widespread acclaim from attendees of all disciplines on the first two meetings and the format will remain largely unchanged as we have some continuity of topic and introduce some new themes with the focus on the newly established Perfusion Downunder Collaboration (PDUC) headed by Rob Baker. We expect the continued excellent input and support from other disciplines that resulted in a truly integrated approach to the issues presented in 2005 and 2006 and again encourage multidisciplinary attendance. The proceedings of the 2006 Meeting are soon to be published in JECT.
The meeting will continue its "Trade Free" approach. The Committee is enormously grateful to Cellplex Pty Ltd, who developed the original concept of Perfusion Downunder, for their exclusive sponsorship of the Meeting and their commitment to the concept of a trade free meeting truly focusing on our objectives.
The meeting will have a finite number of registrations and so we would advise you to register early. Registration and accommodation details have been posted on the Perfusion Downunder website. We invite you to add this site to your favourites.
Please do not hesitate to contact myself or any of the members from the Organising Committee.
Sincerely

Tim Willcox
