Canyon Adventure

Saturday 7th August - 1 PM

Be mesmerised by breath taking views on a precipitous all terrain vehicle trip into majestic Skippers Canyon. En route the guide will fill you in on the rich gold mining history that is Skippers Canyon.

On reaching the Pipeline Bridge (the longest and highest single span suspension bridge in the Southern Hemisphere), enjoy a bbq lunch at the Miners Museum.

After lunch the group will break into two groups. The first will kit up and jet up the Shotover through Skippers Canyon while the second group is free to check out the miner’s museum, chat to the locals and pan for a few nuggets before jet boating the Shotover. Survivors of the first group you then enjoy the Pipeline Bridge and miner’s relics.
